Our Legacy

The roots of BJS run deeper than just the automotive business. Our legacy begins with Late Mr. B. S. Balaji Singh, who started his career as a bus-route permit operator. Over a period of time, he explored and expanded into iron-ore mining and became a major supplier to MMTC. His leadership as the President of the Ballari Hospet Iron Ore Suppliers Association (BHIOSA) set a strong foundation for the family’s future businesses.

His commitment to progress and his spirit of community leadership continued to guide BJS even after his passing in 1996. Today, under the leadership of Mr. Jayaraj Singh and Mrs. Lakshmi Singh along with their sons, Mr. B. J. Akhilesh Singh and Mr. B. J. Aditya Pratap Singh, BJS continues to grow with the same principles of trust, service, and innovation.

Company History

BJS takes its name from the initials of Mr. Balaji Singh, Mr. Jayraj Singh, and Mr. Shyamraj Singh, which reflects the family’s strong foundation. Guided by a vision to bring world-class automotive experiences to the region, the company continues to strengthen its legacy with innovation, trust, and excellence at its core.

Our first milestone came through a partnership with Toyota, under which we established 3S facilities — Sales, Service, and Spares, across Ballari and Vijayanagar, along with rural facilities in the Chitradurga and Koppal districts.

Toyota represented aspiration and achievement — A brand for those who had worked hard and arrived in life. It symbolized progress, pride, and reliability, and over the years, we nurtured this partnership with the same values, growing it into a relationship built on trust, excellence, and consistency that defines BJS today.

BJS is a reputed Toyota dealer and a dynamic automotive enterprise with deep roots in Karnataka’s entrepreneurial history. Incorporated in 2010, BJS carries forward a proud business legacy built on a far-sighted vision and resilience.

In 2021, we diversified into commercial vehicles with Ashok Leyland, a brand that resonates deeply with the spirit of our country’s hardworking class. For us, Ashok Leyland is not just a business; it’s an emotion. For many farmers, their Ashok Leyland vehicle is like their eldest son, the one who earns, supports, and sustains the family. It becomes the backbone of their livelihood, carrying their hopes, and responsibilities every day. That powerful connection inspired us to bring Ashok Leyland to our people so that we can empower those who form the foundation of our nation.

In 2025, we expanded again with Royal Enfield, an icon of legacy and timeless style. Royal Enfield represents those who believe that old is gold, people who value passion, tradition, and the joy of the open road. Our entry into this segment was completely driven by the same emotion – to serve customers who love cruiser bikes not just for travel, but for identity.
